The FTA-250L Airband Handheld Radio Transceiver is designed to provide all the essential features required for reliable AM airband communication. Delivering 5 watts of transmit power (AM 5W P.E.P., 1.5W carrier), the FTA-250L ensures clear and dependable communication. Its 700 mW internal speaker produces loud, crisp audio, making it easy to hear incoming calls even in noisy environments. A noise-cancelling function for both transmission and reception further enhances clarity by reducing background interference.
The radio supports both 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing, ensuring full compatibility with modern airband requirements. With 250 programmable memory channels, each supporting up to 7 alphanumeric characters, frequently used frequencies can be stored and recalled quickly and efficiently. The Flip-Flop key, conveniently located on the side of the unit, allows instant recall of up to 9 previously used channels.
Additional advanced features include Dual Watch, enabling monitoring of two frequencies simultaneously, AF Pitch Control for personalized audio tuning, and a back-lit keypad and dot-matrix LCD display with adjustable dimmer for excellent visibility in all lighting conditions.
